On Thursday 15 November, Blake, Petar and Ari visited Bribie Island High School and gave a 90min presentation about rocketry. Over 100 yr8 and yr9 students listened attentively as the history of the Saturn V rocket and its mission to the moon was given. All of the stages of the Saturn V were shown on a scale model that was dissassembled to show the complexity of what left the Earth and the simplicity of what returned.

A model of the various parts of the space shuttle was also shown and explained. This was followed by demonstrations of water powered, air powered and chemical powered rockets.

It was great to see how keen the students were about our demonstration as many in depth questions were asked by them.
The behaviour of the students was a credit to their school and teachers.
